News From Sociology Advising:
If you haven’t been in to see your Sociology advisor in awhile, be sure to set up an appointment by calling 612-624-4300. Remember, the start of the semester and registration are busy times in advising. Consider using walk-in hours to check on progress towards your major or any other quick questions you may have.
Soc Scene Newsletters:
The Soc Scene is the Sociology Undergraduate Newsletter. This newsletter is sent to Sociology students on a periodic basis.
Submit a short article to the Soc Scene!
The Soc Scene offers a student written component and we are excited to invite students to submit short commentaries, reviews, or reflections on Sociology related news, campus events, or experiences (volunteer, internships, study abroad, jobs, service learning, etc.).
All submissions will go through our Newsletter committee for approval. Approved submissions will appear in upcoming newsletters.
