Sociology Undergraduate Research Fellowship
The Department of Sociology invites applications for the Sociology Undergraduate Research Fellowship. This is an award for up to $500 to be applied toward books and tuition during fall semester.
To qualify, applicants must be:
- Declared sociology majors in good academic standing with potential in their field;
- Participating in or planning to undertake their own research involving social problems and/or solutions to social problems.
Interested students must submit:
- An application, which can be downloaded by clicking on this link or picked up in 909 Social Sciences;
- A letter of nomination from a faculty member supervising your research (CCLC has a very helpful resource page on how to best request a letter of recommendation from a faculty member. Click on Helpful Tips that Can Make a Difference);
- A one- to two-page proposal describing your research;
- A current Academic Progress Audit System (APAS) report from One Stop.
