Narrative

I consider myself a public sociologist; I seek to go beyond current trends and issues to look at deeper questions of power in society across borders. My current research answers important questions about the consequences of globalization and approaches each inquiry with careful consideration and sound methodology. My dissertation, “Trapped in Transit: Migration, International Aid, and the Making of Refugees on the Borders of Europe in Ukraine“ is an extended case study addressing the dynamics of refugee migration.
