Narrative

My research experience and interests focus on education, social stratification, and social mobility. I am interested in education as both an outcome and as a regressor. As a left-hand side variable I am interested in what circumstances and characteristics predict college attendance, completion, institutional type, and quality; as a right-hand side variable, how do labor-market outcomes vary depending on postsecondary educational trajectories. How do these relationships vary across temporal, geographical, and racial/ethnic contexts? I have worked as a research assistant at the Minnesota Population Center since the summer of 2012.
