The department is currently recruiting for an outstanding senior scholar. The appointment will begin no earlier than August 27, 2007 and will be at the rank of associate professor with tenure or professor with tenure, depending upon qualifications and consistent with Collegiate and University policy. Candidates will be expected to participate in both the undergraduate and graduate curricula, maintain an active research agenda, and contribute service appropriate to the appointment rank. Salary is competitive. We will favor candidates whose dossiers demonstrate scholarly distinction and record of publication.
